    Comments:

First off let me say where I'm coming from. I ride a 29er with XTR drive train, Avid Juicy hydro disc with Reba Air. My standard for parts is somewhat higher than average. All the parts on this BIANCHI are much better than you will find on anything from a [...] bike. My wife has a neck injury and can not lean over onto the handle bars at all. She is all of 5'4" (and a half) so good luck finding a bike with a "beach cruiser" seating position but with anything more than 7 speeds in her size. Don't get me wrong, Giant has one that seams very nice and Townies are well repected but the first is heavier the second is too large. The frame is very nice at this price point... well, really any price point with in reason. The frame is really nice with a shaped top tube and perfect welds. Racing Red is not her style but looks great and the metalic blue with gold lettering is quite classy.Wheels are good at this price, nothing too special but not cheap junk either. 700c wheels are a nice plus as they roll over bumps like nothing. Plus they look nice with the slight aero rims in black anodized.Drive train is good for this price point also. Shifters have a crisp positive feel and have no noticable hunting while shifting. The saddle seems to me to be a bit tough but thats such a personal thing I'm not sure if anyone ever likes the original seat that comes with thier bike.Maybe the best place to throw your cash on an up grade is a toss up between shifters or wheels. There is no reason to change either one of these items from stock although some of use like our toys :)Bottom line: This is a very nice bike. Not just for the money, not just for the price point and not just for my wifes specific needs. I would love to have one of these for myself.(if I didn't have too many already)I got a 29er, a SS, MTB turned commuter so I'm good for what ever ride I'm on but if I only could have one I might just be this.As an after thought the HUB bike co-op has been a pleasure to deal with. Many, many bikes tested and many options explored. Thanks to every one at the Minnehaha location.
