Deuter's Streamer Helix Valve Kit can be retrofitted onto Deuter hydration hoses. Light pressure opens it so you have easy access to water no matter what. The spring-loaded valve closes automatically and if you're storing it for longer, like on the car ride to the trail or sitting around a camp fire, a simple twist seals the valve in case it gets bumped.
